Hybrid lessons at IH Galway

It’s such an exciting time at IH Galway. We have recently reopened our doors and we are back in our beautiful 18th Century building in the heart of the city, on Eyre Square. Our students in Galway are thrilled to be coming back to our centre and also to stay working with our other students who are joining our lessons online in our hybrid classrooms.

We are very proud to have offered our live online lessons during the past 7 months while the world has been adjusting to the Coronavirus. Our students have been delighted with the quality of our live online lessons and they say that they have more personalised attention from their teacher and that they can concentrate better in live online lessons. New students have also been joining us weekly from all over the world and we are thrilled to be able to work with students from Damascus, Caracas, Rio de Janeiro, Riyadh and Moscow, to name just a few cities where our live online students are based!

We are now offering hybrid lessons – students can safely come and study in school or they can join the same classes online from anywhere in the world! Our hybrid lessons are really taking off and we’re very happy to be at the forefront of language teaching innovation.

We have been awarded the Tourism Ireland Safety Charter, which means that our staff have been trained in Covid-19 safety procedures and all health and safety procedures are in place and followed.

We know how keen everyone is to start travelling again, and we are really looking forward to welcoming our students physically to our school in Galway. To encourage students to feel confident about starting their English Language journey with us, if they book a course to start some time in 2021 in person, they can start their learning journey with us live online now, for free! For any bookings of 6 weeks +, if there is a quarantine still in place on arrival in Ireland when the students wish to travel, we will pay for their accommodation for the two weeks they need to self-isolate, and they can also join our live online lessons while they are in quarantine.

Galway is known as the cultural capital of Ireland so whether you’re looking for traditional Irish music, dance, literature, theatre, or some of the finest seafood in Ireland, Galway has it all! Our students call it ‘The real Ireland’ and this is what you will find in Galway!
